New technologies and trends shape the developments in the postal market. Drones, autonomous solutions, block chain, digitization, crowd-delivery are only a few examples of those new trends and technologies. However, there are risks and challenges involved, including security concerns or legal and regulatory questions. What is needed to cope with those challenges? What framework is needed to give postal and logistics companies as well as their customers security and clear rules? Will the current approaches from the public side create an environment in which those technologies can flourish for the benefit of all?
